I'm Here to Listen
My experience enables me to offer personalised psychotherapeutic care and counselling. I am interested in meeting with people from all walks of life and will treat several mental health challenges and relationship issues. I provide a safe space for clients to grow their capacity for self-awareness and understanding.
My focus is to help individuals develop their inner strengths, broaden their support network, find balance and rekindle their passion for life. This can be achieved by meeting each other in our shared humanity: by listening to your concerns, challenging old patterns of behaviour and co-creating a healthy relationship that enables you to engage dynamically in the world.
In my own life, I engage in personal therapy as part of my self-care. I have experienced the vulnerability and risk it takes to bring yourself to a therapy session. I would be honoured to have the opportunity to support you on your healing journey. If you have any questions about my approach, please do not hesitate to contact me.
A free 15 minute phone consultation is available for all interested individuals.

I have a special interest and background in supporting women through motherhood. This poignant transition needs to be honoured and respected for the healthy functioning of our communities and the families in them. The children we are raising are the next generation of caretakers on this planet, and they are the guardians of each other. Mummas are often left to hold that legacy in isolation!
I am also passionate about being a resource for couples who are stepping into parenthood, for the first or subsequent time. It can be a fearful process yet it needn't be debilitating. Frequent questions for the change in dynamic could be: How will the labour be, who will be present for the birth, will it affect our sex life afterwards? Are our values aligned for parenting, who can support us, do I have to return to work, what happens to our household/familial roles now?
Attachment issues are frequently embedded in relational trauma and are activated in parenthood. These complexities can affect the parent/child bond, often resulting in destructive self-beliefs and turmoil in intimate relationships. I believe in creating change by addressing the here-and-now symptoms of the traumatic expression, which could be: depression, anxiety, obsessive thinking and actions, lack of motivation, ambivalence, guilt, shame and anger. Thankfully, it's never too late in parenthood to explore this.
I am prepared to meet and support you in your journey to uncover what lies hidden or resting within, to reclaim that which has been tamed, forgotten and out of reach. Counselling requires courage, active commitment, and willingness to participate together. I hope to work with you as a psychotherapist offering gestalt therapy in a way that encourages growth, healing and the desire to seize where and how you want to be in your life.
